Joel Roman joined PNL in 2012 and serves as a Managing Director overseeing the implementation of PNL’s investment strategies and asset management initiatives.

Prior to joining PNL, Joel worked in the Loan Acquisition Group of Beal Bank where he targeted performing and nonperforming real estate loans and credit facilities for acquisition from the FDIC and private institutions.  Preceding his time with Beal, Joel spent three years at Goldman Sachs Commercial Mortgage Capital providing balance sheet loans for the acquisition and repositioning of office, industrial, retail, hotel, and multi-family properties nationwide.

Joel holds an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University and a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma.
