David formed the first PNL entity to buy RTC assets in June 1993 and continues to lead all PNL entities formed through the end of 2021. For new PNL entities formed in 2022 and beyond, David remains a partner and investor, sits on the Investment Committee and provides guidance on PNL’s direction and strategy.

Prior to founding PNL, David led the Corporate Finance Group at La Salle Partners, serving as the lead financial advisor to RTC in structuring and marketing the $1.75 billion National Land Fund. Before joining La Salle, David started and led the Real Estate Capital Markets Group at Goldman Sachs and later headed the firm’s Real Estate Group in London. David began his career as a CPA with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. in Boston.

David holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Accounting from Northeastern University, and a BA in Special Studies from Harvard College.
